Interactive Photoscans + Lidar
Interactive Twins are 3D models of real places and objects that are output in Unreal Engine 5.5
They provide realistic background environments for Virtual Production, XR Gaming/Training Simulation with the benefit of being able to use game engine tools to manipulate lighting, weather, adjust objects, add animation, etc.
All the benefits of the Virtual Studio, but using REAL WORLD LOCATIONS. All the nuance, details of actual places, perfectly digitized and brought to a studio setting for complete control.
No need to bring a large crew too a sensitive or complicated location. Megascapes can scan fully in hours with 2-3 crew and minimal equipment.
Complete environment scans can be capture in as little as 4-6 hours.
Volumetric Gaussian Splats
Gaussian Splats can be better described as a “Volumetric Photograph” that can be used to preserve a set or location.
Retain Lighting and Reflective Data. Preserve a scene EXACTLY HOW IT WAS.

Custom Camera Arrays + Lidar
Megascapes has been perfecting it’s scanning pipeline since 2021. Our capture systems allow us to scan any environment completely from tip to tail.
Megascapes’ drones, proprietary Omnia capture arrays, and FARO lidar data maximize resolution quality and capture speed while reducing any potential for flaws or cleanup in post processing.
